AYA Hummus
In crafting the interview with Jenny Fernandez, I made intentional choices to showcase her hummus production process and her sales journey at the farmers market. These choices aimed to provide viewers with a comprehensive understanding of her entrepreneurial venture, from production to distribution. By focusing on these aspects, I aimed to create a compelling narrative that would engage and inspire audiences to pursue their own dreams.

The main challenge encountered during the filmmaking process was dealing with inclement weather, particularly on the first shooting day. Rainy conditions can disrupt outdoor shoots, affecting lighting, sound quality, and overall production quality. Overcoming this challenge required flexibility and adaptability, such as rescheduling shoots or finding alternative indoor locations. Despite the setback, perseverance and problem-solving skills helped navigate through the obstacle and ensure the successful completion of the interview.

Through the experience of making this interview, I learned the importance of thorough pre-production planning and organization. Structuring the storyline beforehand, allowing for a clearer vision of what needed to be captured and how to approach each scene effectively. Additionally, collaborating with Jenny Fernandez proved to be invaluable, as her willingness to share her story and cooperate throughout the process greatly contributed to the success of the interview. Overall, this experience reinforced the significance of preparation, collaboration, and adaptability in filmmaking, as well as the rewards of working with passionate and cooperative people like Jenny.
